Vitalii Korol ("we", "us", "our") operates the Rock Identifier mobile application for iOS (the "App").
This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the App, why it is processed, who may receive it, and what choices you have. Vitalii Korol is the data controller for personal data processed through the App.
The App does not require you to create an account. We do not sell your personal information. We do not show third-party ads in the App, and we do not use the App for cross-app advertising tracking.
2.1 Photos for identification If you take a photo with the camera or choose one from your photo library, that image is sent to our servers over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS) so we can run rock identification and return a result.
2.2 Identification history (premium) If you have an active premium subscription and save a result to your history, the App stores that entry on your device (including the photo and identification data). This data stays on your device unless you remove it or delete the App.
2.3 Device and app identifiers The App generates a random identifier stored on your device. It is used to operate the App, connect requests to our backend, manage subscriptions, and run analytics. It is not your name or email.
2.4 Purchases and subscriptions Subscription status, product identifiers, and related transaction information are processed by Apple and by our subscription provider (Adapty). We do not receive your payment card details.
2.5 Usage data The App sends analytics events (for example, screens and features used, paywall and purchase events, and session information) to Amplitude to understand how the App is used and to improve it.
2.6 Support messages If you send feedback or contact us through the in-app form, we process the text you submit and related technical context (such as app version, screen name, and, where applicable, an identification job reference) so we can review and respond.
We do not require registration and do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or password in the App.
We do not collect precise location, contacts, microphone audio, or health data.
We do not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA), and the App does not request App Tracking Transparency permission.
